Mr. Willis, "Barney", Smith, age 93 of Turtletown, TN passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. Barney was born in Ducktown, TN to the late Lucius Napolean and Lula Bell Bradburn Smith. He was retired from the Tennessee Chemical Company as a crusher operator. Barney was a member of the Croft's Chapel United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.He was survived by son and daughter-in-law, Stephen J. (Debbie) Smith of Turtletown, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Beverley (Terry) Humberd of Cleveland, TN; brother, Willard "Snuffy" Smith of Turtletown, TN; three grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Mark Smith and Elizabeth Hurley; three great-grandchildren, Quinton, Ashton and Callieann Hurley.Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Croft's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Les Coomer officiating. Music was by Callieann Hurley accompanied by Janice Reid. Pallbearers included Rev. Bill Maughan, Doug Smith, Ken Wooten, Glen Hughes, Ronald Martin and Joe Ballew.
