The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mrs. Willie Stanley Wright, age 84, of Talking Rock, GA who passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 at her home. Born in Fannin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Stanley and Aralecia Garland Stanley. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Frank Wright.She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Jacob and Bertie Stanley of Talking Rock, GA; sisters, Edith Stanley and Ruby Stanley, both of Blue Ridge; a sister-in-law, Mary Lee Patterson of Blue Ridge; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Big Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Wehunt officiating. Mrs. Wright will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Music will be by Roy Neal, James Stanley, and Seth Stanley. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Stanley, James Stanley, Seth Stanley, Daniel Honeycutt, Nathan Honeycutt, and Junior McDaris. Interment will follow in Barnes Chapel Cemetery.
