Willie Sue Prince Cortez, age 79, of Turtletown passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at her home. Willie was born on August 18, 1942 in Murphy, NC to the late William L. Prince and Gracie Baker Prince. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Neil and Anita Prince of Turtletown, Melvin and Teresa Ann Prince of Turtletown, and Jonathan Dewayne and Stephanie Prince of Turtletown; grandchildren, Ashley Prince (Adam) Reichert, Candace Prince (Ronnie) Turner, Logan (Kaitlyn) Prince, Nicole (Daniel) Deal, Cody (Jessica) Chapman, Timmy Prince, Tommy Prince, and Phoebe Prince; and great-grandchildren, Coraline Reichert, Adie Turner, Haden Deal, Kendra Deal, Melia Deal, Lincoln Deal, and Liam Chapman. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Allen officiating. Music was provided by Ed Vest and Ralph Grice. Interment followed in the Liberty Community Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Neil Prince, Melvin Prince, Jonathan Dewayne Prince, Logan Prince, Brad Miller, and Travis Miller.
