William Henry Watson, age 91, of Crandall, GA passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Mr. Watson was born in Fannin County, GA to the late Tom and Minnie Carver Watson. He was a member of the Cookson Creek Baptist Church and was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He had worked in the CCC Camp, had served as a Deputy Sheriff under Bud Payne's term in office. He had worked with the Polk County Tax Assessor's office and retired from the TVA. He was also preceded in death by his wife of sixty five years, Evelyn Patterson Watson, a daughter and a grandson.He is survived by a son, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 17th at 10:00 a.m. from the Mobile cemetery with Pastor Brian Whitmore officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard . There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
