William Jack "Bill" Towery, age 78 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 in the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was born on January 14, 1942 in McCaysville, GA to the late Jack Towery and Edna Galloway Towery. Bill worked at Tennessee Chemical Company and City Services as a general foreman from eighteen years old until his retirement. He served his country in the United States Army as a sergeant. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Sandra Jo Hughes Towery; brother, Glenn Towery and infant sister, Janice Towery. Survivors are son, William Towery of the Copper Basin; daughter, Tiffany Towery of the Copper Basin; brothers, Earl Towery, Neal Towery and Joe Towery and sisters, Jacqueline Turner, Janet Skelley and Patricia Howe. Graveside services were conducted on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from the Pantertown Cemetery. Military Honors were provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
