Mr. William Thomas Sisson, age 71, of Copperhill, TN passed away on Saturday, March 06, 2010 at his residence. Born in Polk County, TN he was the son of the late William Hoyt and Edith Simmonds Sisson. He was a construction worker and of the Christian Faith. Mr. Sisson is preceded in death by siblings, Ronnie Sisson, Gene Sisson and Betty Hawkins. Survivors include sisters, Emily Walden of Epworth, GA, Shirley and husband Travis Huffman of Blue Ridge, GA and Helen Rogers of Benton, TN. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denny Hawkins officiating. Music was by Sherry Walden. Pallbearers were Anthony Walden, Brandon Walden, Jordan Walden, Jim Callihan, Billy Callihan, Johnny Chastain, Darryl Walden and Jeremy Callihan. Honorary Pallbearers were Kory Chastain, Dillon Callihan, Roger Tallent and Clyde " Stump" Loudermilk. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Cemetery.
