Obituary

Mr. William "Bill" Kenneth Prince, age 70 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was born in Polk County, TN on October 28, 1942 to the late Robert Lee Prince and Mary Lou Harris Prince. He was self-employed in timber harvesting as a saw miller and logger. Mr. Prince loved fishing and golfing. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Prince served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Prince and son, Kenneth Allen Prince.Survivors are his wife, Carolyn B. Prince of Copperhill, TN; daughter, Katrina Prince Burrell of Ellijay, GA; step-daughters and step-sons-in-law, Shawn and Lee Adams of Benton, TN, Pamela and Keith Etheridge of Copperhill, TN and Becky and Eddie O'Neal of Epworth, GA; mother, Mary Lou Harris Prince of Ducktown, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Rhonda Prince of Copperhill, TN; two grandchildren, Savannah Burrell and Chandler Burrell; seven step-grandchildren, Wesley Adams, Kyle Adams. Jennifer Henry, Jessica Thomason, Micah O'Neal, Isaac O'Neal and Noah O'Neal; eight step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. Jeremiah Jack officiating. Music was by Champ Prince. Pallbearers were Trevor Prince, Victor Prince, Darris Mealer, Tyke Prince, Charles Taylor, Lee Adams, Bobby Owenby and Dewey Owenby. Interment followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery with full Military Honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
