The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Mr. William Lynn Kaylor, age 59, of Copperhill, TN, who passed away on Monday, April 06, 2009 in Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Born in Polk County, TN he was the son of the late Bertha Mae Kaylor. He was loved by his family, was a math tutor for his family and was of the Church of God faith. Mr. Kaylor was preceded in death by a sister Linda Kaylor Bell.Survivors include niece, Renee' Bell of Copperhill, TN; nephew, Josh Bell of Copperhill, TN; many cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Copperhill with Rev. Donald Padgett officiating. Music will be provided by Calla Mae Miller. Interment will follow in Hot House Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: David Green, Willie Green, Todd Brown, John Brown, Chris Brown and Scotty Chambers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday after 2:00 p.m. but especially from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to help defray funeral expenses.
