William Stephen (Steve) Harper, age 62 passed away November 04, 2013 at Northside Cherokee Hospital, Canton, Georgia. Mr. Harper was born May 30, 1951 in Copperhill, Tennessee to the late Robert Nathan Harper and late Flora Lea Harper. He graduated from Copper Basin High School and Kennesaw State University. Steve retired from Lockheed Georgia where he was a Computer Analyst. His hobbies were golf and music. Steve is survived by two sons, Stephen Todd Harper, Athens, Georgia and William Andrew "Andy" Harper, Winder, Georgia. He had 5 sisters, Patsy Bethel, Tulsa, OK., Barbara Owens, Ocala, FL., Fran Watkins, Gainesville, GA., Margaret Edwards, Canton, GA., and Linda Sayne, Kennesaw, GA.. 4 brothers, Robert Harper, McCayesville, GA., John Harper, Corpus Cristi, TX., and Larry Harper, Acworth, GA., and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Akins Funeral in the Chapel, Blue Ridge, Georgia on December 14, 2013 at 11:00AM.
