William Frank Duncan, age 92, of Copperhill, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020. He was born on January 10, 1928 in Emmett, TN, to the late Ray James Duncan and Jessie Lee Deaver Duncan. Frank worked as a mechanic, as a Constable for Polk County, and in maintenance within Polk County Schools. Many memories and many hours have been made in his old greasy garage repairing cars and other small engines for people. One of Mr. Duncan's favorite things to do was to spend time with his family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Marie Cole Duncan; grandchild, Taylor Marie White; and siblings, Mona Imogene Duncan Wiggins, Emma Kate Duncan Davis, Mary Ann Duncan Wagner, Robert Preston Duncan, and James Ray Duncan, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Sonny) Payne of Copperhill and Elizabeth (David) Rider of Nelson, GA; sister, Merle (Hoyt) Duncan Chapman; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Dilbeck, William David Rider, Sandra (Stephen) White, and Brandy Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Scott Dilbeck, Cameron Dilbeck, Kimberly Dilbeck, Tyler White, Angelica Gordon, Tristin Dillard, and Lorna Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Braydon Curtis and Aleyah White; special niece, Donna Jean (Charlie) Wiggins-Dillard; and many nieces and nephews also survive. A private graveside gathering occurred at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Copperhill. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Tyler White, Stephen White, Cody Bohm, Kenneth Davis, David Rider, and Scott Dilbeck.
