William Jeremy Callihan, age 39, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at his home. He was born in Copperhill on April 1, 1983. He was baptized and became a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge on April 18, 1993. He loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time on the lake with family and friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his contagious laugh. He loved his brother unconditionally and loved Dillon's children like they were his own. He is preceded in death by his niece, Kenzlee Rae McCoy.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Billy and Lina Callihan; brother, Dillon Callihan; sister, Holly Clayton; grandmother, Shirley (Travis) Huffman; aunts and uncles, Amy Tallent and Jim (Jennifer) Callihan; nieces and nephews, Sophie Smith and Braxton Callihan and their mother, Tiffany Smith, and Harper Clayton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Sammy Ledford officiating. Music was provided by Jim Callihan and David Anderson. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bubba Pack, Bobby Ballew, Joel Burger, Aaron Rogers, B.J. Howard, and Marshall Davis. The family visited with friends on Tuesday evening, at the funeral home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
