Mr. William John Potter, lovingly known as "Billy", age 61, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in Canton.

Born on October 30, 1963, in Michigan, he was the son of the late John Grant Potter and Marie Carol Guibord Potter. He spent many years working for Sunbelt Traffic, where he served as a Senior Traffic Signal Technician. Billy enjoyed spending time with his family, and his canine companion, Diesel. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings, George Potter and Jan Potter.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Clementyne Jones (Trey Emmons); his grandchildren, Braden Jones, Aashawaa Jones, and Niimkii Jones; his bonus grandchildren, Daylin Emmons and Elijah Murphy; and faithful canine companion, Diesel.
