Mr. William "Randall" Ballew, age 71, of Copperhill, TN, passed away on February 27, 2016 in Hamilton, Co. TN. He was the son of the late Jim and Marie Patterson Ballew. Mr. Ballew was an avid NASCAR and Dirt Track Racing fan and loved old Hot Rod Cars. However, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his two grand daughters. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Ballew; and one sister, Pat Wright.Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Paulette Ballew of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Danny Ballew of Copperhill, TN and Jamey and Stephanie Ballew of Mineral Bluff, GA; brothers and one sister-in-law, Bobby Ballew of Ducktown, TN and Joe and Susie Ballew of Turtletown, TN; sister, Angie Ballew of Turtletown, TN; and two precious grand daughters, Allie and Anna Ballew.Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 1, 20016 at 11:00 a.m from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hemming and Rev. Jeremy Hedden officiating. Music will be provided by Tristan Hedden and Wendy Hedden. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jason Goode, Brandon Ballew, Grayson Hedden, Jacob Carr, Jordan Tallent and Greg Tallent. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as honorary pallbearers: Earl Wright, A.E. Loudermilk, Chuck Hedden, Buster Carr and Darren Loudermilk.
