Willard Jacob Waters, age 61 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012. He was born in McCaysville, GA on January 27, 1951 to the late Luther and Zella Allen Waters. Willard worked at Tennessee Copper Company. He was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lora and Noel Kennedy; six granddaughters, Celeste Beach, Ansleigh Jones, Christine Kennedy, Hannah Waters, Jacqueline Waters and Jenna Waters; one grandson Zackery Waters; three great granddaughters, Madden, Brintlie, Channing Beach; one great grandson, Zachery Beach; many brothers, sisters-in-law; nephews and nieces also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Paul Ray Harper and Rev. Billy Waters officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid and Amy Allen. Pallbearers will be Daren Waters, Eric Waters, Corey Waters, Bill Thomasson, Jeremy Pittman and Jake Loudermilk. Interment will follow in the Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
