Willa Nell Plush, age 94, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her home. She was born on December 17, 1928 in Fannin County, to the late Andrew Jackson Rogers and Carrie Bearden Rogers. Willa Nell was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Sylvester Plush; son, Robert Charles Plush; daughter, Betty Sue Barfield; daughter-in-law, Patsy Plush; brothers and sisters-in-law, W.B. and Madeline Rogers, J.B. and Irene Rogers, and Ronnie Rogers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Dills, Wendell Patterson, and Patsy and Hoyt Queen.

Willa Nell is survived by her children and their spouses, William Gary Plush, James Raymond and Debbie Plush, Jerry Lee Plush, Bobby Joe and Jo Anne Plush, and Willa Mae and Mike Holloway; brother and sisters-in-law, Jackie and Kate Rogers, and Sue Rogers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Herschel Chapman, Ruth Ann Patterson, and G.L. "Sonny" Dills; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 12:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Butch Jones officiating. Congregational music will be led by Min. Shannon Bearden. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Plush, Andrew Plush, Eli Plush, Jody Barfield, James Holloway, and Bradley Head. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Plush, Dustin Carder, Landon Stover, Jonah Kilpatrick, and Chase Roberts. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
