Mrs. Willa Dean Chastain, age 78, of Epworth, GA passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Chastain was born on November 20, 1934 in Fannin County, GA to the late Kenn Williamson and Nora Hallum Williamson. She was a member of Colwell Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Hobert Lee Chastain. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Sandra Chastain of Epworth; daughters and son-in-law, Kathy and David Collett of Epworth and Judy Chastain of Blue Ridge; brother, Guinn Williamson of Epworth; grandchild, Tosha Chastain and great grandchild Keigan Brookshire. Funeral services were held Saturday, Febuary 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Glen Collis officiating. Music was by Nancy Watkins and John Chastain. Pallbearers were be Roy Crawford, Morris Callihan, Cory Callihan, Robert Crawford, Ernest Jones, Jason Brookshire, and Gerald Williamson. Graveside service was conducted by Rev. Terry Callihan. Interment follow in Colwell Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mrs. Chastain may be made to the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Jane Callihan, P.O. Box 1542, Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
