Willa Dean Burger, age 87, of Ducktown, TN passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mrs. Burger was a native of the Copper Basin area. She was a homemaker and member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Cecil A. Burger; parents, William C. and Ethel Dilbeck Smith; siblings, Charles Smith and Magdalene Bigham.She is survived by brother, William E. Smith of Ducktown,TN and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 9th at 2:00 p.m. from Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Gladson officiating. Interment followed in the Zion Hill church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Willa to the Life Care Center of Copper Basin activity fund at P.O.Box 518, Ducktown, TN 37326.
