Mr. Welsey "Kirby" Goforth, Jr., age 58, of Murphy, NC passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 in the Piedmont Hospital in Jasper, GA. Mr. Goforth was born in Copperhill, TN on Octobe 17, 1954 to the late Wesley Kirby Goforth, Sr. and Clymenia Jones Goforth. He worked as a truck driver for Little Debbie and as a member of First United Methodist Church of Copperhill. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Chris Byers of Old Fort, TN; brother, Timothy Goforth of Oregon; sister, Jeanette Cearley of Ft. Ogelthorpe, GA; grandchildren, Sierra Byers, Colin Byers, Cole Byers, and Connor Byers. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from Crestlawn Cemetery with Rev.
