Wanda Sue Waters, age 59 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012. She was born in Copperhill, TN on May 21, 1953. Wanda worked as a cook for Polk County BOE. She was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church.She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lora and Noel Kennedy; father and mother, Marion and Vivien Hedden Locke of Copperhill, TN; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and J.B. Mull of Cleveland, TN and Ester and Terry Satterfield of Reliance, TN; many nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Paul Ray Harper and Rev. Billy Waters officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid and Amy Allen. Pallbearers will be Colby Panter, Christopher Davenport, Jeff Payne, Wesley Cearly, Tim Worthy and Cody Chapman. Interment will follow in the Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
