Clifford Wade Green, age 67, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was born on January 6, 1954, in Blue Ridge, to the late George Albert Green and Mattie Queen Green. Wade was a member of Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church. He was a member of the Mineral Bluff Lodge #483 F&AM. Wade worked for the Fannin County Road Department as a Grader Operator. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas Green, Leonard Green, James Green, J.R. Green, Joyce Lee Green, Albert Green, and Robert Green; and sister, Evelyn Prather. Wade is survived by his wife of 19 years, Lisa Green; son, Thomas Wade "Tooter" Green; daughter and son-in-law, Joni and Kevin Bock; grandchildren, Waylon Bock, Reba Bock, Katelyn Carney, Zachary Carney, and KateLynn Bock; brother, Freddy Green; sisters, Mildred Ellington and Margaret Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Carter officiating. Music will be provided by Richard White. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Albert Green, Justin Green, Michael Green, Kenny Green, Wesley Green, and Kevin Bock. Matthew Green will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Wade will lie in state at Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church on Monday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM.
