Victor "Vic" Lynn Gibson, age 61, of Turtletown passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Tennova Healthcare of Cleveland, TN. Vic was born on May 20, 1962 in Copperhill to Leon Gibson and Norma Padgett Gibson. He owned and operated Vic's Tire and Auto Store in Turtletown for many years where he enjoyed visiting with the customers. Vic also enjoyed billards, collecting knives, fishing, and camping. He is preceded in death by his father.

Vic is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Denette Gibson; son, Nicholas Lynn Gibson; and mother, Norma Lee Gibson.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Robby Hatcher and Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music was provided by Nakema Smith, Abby Smith, and Gracie Burkett. Interment followed in the Treewhitt Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Matt Nicholson, Mike Nicholson, Josh Brown, Chris Head, Derrick Cearley, and Jamey Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Robby Cearly, Josh Chancey, Shaun McCoig, River Long, and Robert Spurlock.
