Ulyses Eugean Ledford, age 67, of Farner, TN, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 in the Sky Ridge Medical Center in Cleveland, TN. Ulyses was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a son of the late Amos and Onibee Farner Ledford. He was self-employed in construction, and was of the Baptist Faith. He was also preceded in death by brother, Truman Ledford and nephew, Anthony Ledford. He is survived by one brother, David Ledford of Farner, TN; Four sisters, Eula Mae Akens of Farner, TN, Barbara Ann Roberson of Murphy, NC, Iva Dell Martin of Oldfort, TN, Merietta Trentham of Farner, TN; two nieces, eleven nephews; several great nephews & nieces. Many other relatives and friends.Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 3, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Scott Martin and Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music was by Jeff & Denise Calhoun. Pallbearers included Nate, Tom, Brian and B.J. Taylor, Delbert Hickey and Cotton Mashburn. Honorary pallbearers included Dustin McKnight, Derrick, Adam and Corey Taylor. Interment followed in the Turtletown Baptist Church cemetery.
