IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tyler Ervin
Harris
August 8, 1997 – September 20, 2024
Tyler Ervin Harris, age 27, left this world to enter his heavenly home on Friday, September 20, 2024. Tyler was born the son of Ervin Christy and Teresa Harris. Since he couldn't wait to make his grand entrance into the world, he chose to be a preemie and enter this world 10 weeks early on August 8, 1997. He may have been little coming into this world, but he was mighty going out. Tyler was of the Baptist faith and a member at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Blairsville. He was such a kind, gentle soul. He would do anything for anyone, and he would offer help to anybody that needed it. He loved all types of music and was a very talented guitar player. His love of Nascar began at an early age (3) and he could tell you about almost every single driver on the track. Kevin Harvick was his man after Dale Earnhardt passed. He collected all things Nascar and had a collection of die cast cars that most could only imagine. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved both hunting and fishing. Blue Ridge and Notley were two of his favorite lakes but Hiawassee and Apalachee didn't follow far behind. His favorite hunting times were spent on Rock Creek and Hawk Mountain. One of his hidden passions was baking and he was really good at it! He shared recipes with his Momma always knowing his creations would come out best. Tyler's true passion was working out and he seldom missed a day! If he did, he was hurt or sick. He was one of the only people that could spend 95 minutes on the stair-stepper! He always welcomed the "newcomers" and was willing to help anyone that asked for it. And finally, his obsession with ink. He loved each and every tattoo he had but the one that really meant the most was the coordinates to Hawk Mountain he got in honor of his pawpaw and nanny and ironically, will now show those coordinates too.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal grandparents, Charles Guinn Maughan and Cora Nixon; his paternal grandparents, Ervin and Bessie Harris; aunt, Darlene Paschall and his treasured fur babies, Alice and Mae Bell.
Tyler is survived by a mother who adored him, Teresa (Dwight) Dilbeck; a father who loved him tremendously, Chris (Susan) Harris; a God-given sister and Best Friend, Jessica Thomas; step-sisters, Casey Evans, Rachel (Jeremy) Eaton, and Autumn Martin; uncle, Charles (Tabitha) Maughan; uncle, Billy Paschall; aunt, Diane (Joe) Harris; special aunt, Karen (Ronald) Martin; nephews, Jacob Thomas, Travis Eaton, and Derek Jones; nieces, Chloe' Espay and Ava Eaton. Many more cousins and special friends.
