Truman A. Tipton, age 71, of Morganton passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 in Chattanooga, TN. Born on April 24, 1945 in Morganton, he was the son of the late Fred and Florence Head Tipton. He was of the Christian faith. He worked as a Real Estate Developer. He is preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Julie Tipton and Mitchell and Dana Tipton, all of Morganton; grandchildren, Wiley Tipton, Shea Tipton, and Lacey Tipton, Willie Baldwin; and several siblings. Graveside services were held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Postell officiating. Music was provided by Bart Turner.
