Mr. Tommy Allen Ross, age 71, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was born in Fannin County on December 23, 1939 to the late Floyd and Iowa Joyce Ross. Survivors include a cousin, Alice and husband, Charles Seabolt of Epworth, GA; caregivers, Judy and husband, Kim Norton; four nieces and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Ross of Blue Ridge; many relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Larry Stover and Rev. Johnny Rhodes officiating. Pallbearers will be Troy Norton, Eric Norton, Leroy Norton, Frank Burke, Willie Burke and Lucas Burke. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Patterson, Johnny Burke, T.W. Burke, Joe Burke and Tommy Burke. Interment will follow in Sunrise Tabernacle Cemetery.
