Tommy Jay Duckworth, Sr., age 80, of Turtletown, TN passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at his home. Mr. Duckworth was born in Blairsville, GA on May 23, 1940 to the late Carlos William Duckworth and Minnie Laura Laura Kelly Duckworth. He worked in the maintenance department for Tennessee Copper Company and was a member of Farner Church of God. Mr. Duckworth is survived by his wife, Donna Duckworth of Turtletown, TN; children, Lee (Jessica) Garrett of Turtletown, TN, Alice (Jim) Burger of Blue Ridge, GA, William Duckworth of Turtletown, TN, Brian Duckworth of Turtletown, TN, Cindy Duckworth, Gail (Paul) Hall, Tommy Duckworth, Jr., and Faith Duckworth, all of Murphy, NC; a sister, Betty Duckworth Hood of Blairsville, GA; and 7 grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Duckworth were held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Farner Church of God with Rev. Guin Green officiating. Music was by Timothy Dockery, Rev.
