Mrs. Tina Martin, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 5, 1953 in Copperhill, Tennessee to the late Quentin Lawrence and Wilma Galloway Lawrence. She worked as an accountant for many years until her retirement.
In the words of her daughters, "Our mother was a fiercely loyal woman to her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and to all she loved. She will be missed beyond words. "
Preceding her in death includes her parents, and two siblings, Kenny Lawrence and Diane Lawrence.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jim Martin; children and their spouses, Misty and Troy Calhoun, Heather Earley, and Whitney and Sean Kelly; grandchildren, Logan Calhoun,Kobyn Calhoun, Landon Poole, Ella Earley and Dylan Kelly; brother, Joe Lawrence; a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services were conducted on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Chapel in Blue Ridge, GA with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Interment followed in the Galloway Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
For those desiring, food will be accepted for drop-off after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the High Ridge Peddler Restaurant in Morganton for a gathering at 5:30 p.m.
