Mr. Timothy Brenton Sterrett, age 69, of Ellijay, GA passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 in the North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay, GA. Mr. Sterrett was born on July 1, 1943 in Sioux Falls,SD. He was the son of the late Duane Sterrett and Eunice Vanderkooi Sterrett. He worked as an executive salesman and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cherry Log, GA. He was preceded in death by a son Chris Floyd. He is survived by his wife, Lou Sterrett of Ellijay; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas & Melissa Sterrett of Luvern, MN, Blake Sterrett of Ellijay, Tanner Sterrett of Ellijay, and Craig & Felicia Floyd of Augusta, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Merecie & Larry Donagala of Luvern, MN and Mary Beth & Craig Eiter of Prior Lake, MN; sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Keith Leverentz of Iowa; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Paul Mills officiating. Music will be by Melinda Walker, Melissa Hicks, and Lori Clayton. Pallbearers will be Bruce Wiggleston, Frank Newman, Larry Callahan, Greg Barker, Gene Barker, and Ronnie Patterson. Interment will follow in Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery.
