The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mr. Thomas Jay Ware, age 59, of Mineral Bluff, GA who passed away Monday, May 09, 2011 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Ware was born on May 28, 1951 in Akron, OH to the late Thomas Ben Ware and Doris Kaylor Ware. He worked as a machinist. He is survived by his son, Kevin Ware of Morganton, GA; fianc, Joni Davis and her children, Charlie, Casey, and Jennifer Davis, all of Mineral Bluff; stepchildren, Brent Swain and Geri Holman, both of Akron, OH; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Pat Ware and Mike and Tamatha Ware, all of Mineral Bluff, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vicky and Gary Millhoff of Southside, AL and Linda and Roy Davis of Morganton, GA; grandchild, Alexis Ware; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Gary Millhoff officiating.
