Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Gene Walker, age 77, of Farner, TN passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. Tommy was a native of the Copper Basin and was a son of the late Thomas Earl and Bessie Collins Walker. He was retired from Ocoee Rafting where he drove a rafting bus transporting patrons down the Ocoee river.He is survived by sons, Bobby Gene Walker of Farner, TN, Ronnie (Kelly) Walker of Murphy, NC; daughter, Judy Frank of Kingman, AZ; three grandchildren, Briana Nicole Walker, Joy Shipers and Sharlee Walker.Mr. Walker was cremated and a memorial service is planned for Friday, December 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the Fields of the Wood in Murphy, NC.with Pastor Richard Morrow officiating.
