Thomas "Tommy" Elder Snow, age 84 of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on February 12, 2021 at his home. He was born in Monroe, GA on February 14, 1936 to the late John Leslie Snow and Lila Mae Elder Snow. Tommy retired from General Motors where he worked as a maintenance supervisor. He was preceded in death by his, parents; daughter, Janice Penk; brother, Wendall Snow; and sister, Dorothy Lee. Tommy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Judy Snow of Mineral Bluff, GA; children, David (Tamera) Snow of Monticello, KY, Jennifer (Carlos) Snow Ordonez of Suwanee, GA, Cheryl (Mark) Yurco of Nicholson, GA, and Mike Cothran of Athens, GA; son-in-law, Mark Penk of Duluth, GA; brothers, Glenn Snow of Bishop, GA, and J.L. Snow of Monroe, GA; sister, Bessie Gray of Mableton, GA; grandchildren, Lauren Snow Penticuff, David Snow, Erica Penk, Danielle Penk, Tomas Ordonez, Alyssa Ordonez, Cole Howington, and Anna Howington; great-grandson, Zane Penticuff; and several nieces and nephews. The family held a memorial service on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Messiah Episcopal Church in Murphy, NC with Pastor Maggie Rourk officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Good Hope, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Messiah Episcopal Church in Murphy, NC.
