Thomas Edward Myers, age 79, of Ducktown passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at his home. Tom was born on February 9, 1944 in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Edward Myers and Florence O'Donnell Myers. He served his country in the United States Army from 1963 till 1968. He worked as a licensed practical nurse and pharmacy technician for St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida and later, at Pruitt Healthcare in Blue Ridge. Tom was also a member of the Copperhill American Legion Post 96 and was passionate about real estate and flipping old houses.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Mary Ann Myers.

He is survived by his life-partner and friend, David Hungerford of Ducktown; and friends, Sabine Rutgers, Kathy Calvo of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Trump and Joe of Tampa, FL, Tony Sepulveda of New York, NY, Shelia Coffin and daughters, Mary and Sarah of Nantucket, MA, Fran Lazzara of Tampa, FL and many local friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens Cemetery.
