Mr. Thomas Lee "Tom" Meadows, age 65, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at his home. Mr. Meadows was born on March 7, 1949 in Hot Springs, VA. He worked as a buiding and supply purchasing manager for Ace Hardware. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was a Marine Corp veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Lee Meadows and a brother, Allen Meadows. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Donna Meadows of Blue Ridge; sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Kaci Gooch of Thompson Station, TN, Frank Bo Gooch III (Danielle) of El Paso, TX, and Joshua Meadows of VA; Hope Browne of Virginia and Rhonda Reed of Virginia; father, Walter Meadows of Port Royale, VA; brother, George Meadows of Virginia; Susie Meadows and Carolyn Tricolli of Florida; grandchildren, Henley Elizabeth Gooch, Lauren Browne, Brandon Reed, Brianna Reed, and Eric Browne. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Beck officiating. Music will be by Greg Norton. Military honors will be by the United States Marine Corp. Donations in memory of Mr. Meadows may be made to the Temple Baptist Church Building Fund.
