Mr. Thomas Lake Harris, age 80, of Canton, GA passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 in the Canton Nursing Center in Canton, GA. He was born in Fannin County, GA on May 23, 1929 to the late Robert and Elizabeth Dean Harris. Mr. Harris served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had been a grocery store manager. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Darla Edgell.He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Robert Don and Sherry Harris of Canton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Adele and Randy Millwood of Owings Mill, MD; brother, Frank (Doc) Harris of Zephyr Hills, FL; sisters, Beulah Byers of Lithia Springs, GA and Marie Standridge of Dalton, GA; five grandchildren; five great grandsons and two great granddaughters also survive.A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgia National Cemetery with military honors provided by the National Guard Soliders.
