Thomas J. Green, age 68, of Blue Ridge passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Green was born on February 7, 1949 in Copperhill, TN to the late George Albert and Mattie Queen Green. He was was a member Mineral Bluff Lodge #483 F&AM and was retired from the Fannin County Road Department. He is survived by his brothers, Wade Green of Blue Ridge, James Green of Blue Ridge, and Freddy Green of Blue Ridge; sisters, Mildred Ellington of Ellijay, Margaret Bell of Mineral Bluff, and Evelyn Prather of Blue Ridge; and a special adopted grandson, Thomas "Tooter" Green.A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1:15 pm from the Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
