May 7, 1949 – February 23, 2024
Mr. Thomas Loring Graham, age 74, of Blue Ridge, GA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2024. He was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late Clifford and Polly Dockery Graham. Thomas loved living, working and enjoying the outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a phenomenal friend. He worked hard his entire life for the betterment of those he loved. Thomas was loyal member and Deacon of Colwell Baptist Church. He was a current and long time employee of Tri-State EMC where he worked as a Truck Operator.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Cecil Graham, Eldon Graham and Shirley Galloway.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Judy Wright Graham of the home; children, Lorie Diane Graham Watkins of Epworth, GA, Lisa (Kenny Charles, Jr.) Renee Graham of Athens, TN and Scott Benson Graham (Courtney) of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Nathan Thomas Watkins, Nadalie Diane Watkins, Brody Lee Graham and James Sawyer Graham; sister, Happy Sanders of Lawrenceville, GA; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Colwell Baptist Church with Rev. John Newton and Rev. Curtis Easley officiating. Music will be provided by the Colwell Baptist Church Choir. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Nathan Chancey officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Billy Henry, Chris Harper, Jim Callihan, Steve O'Neal, Waylon O'Neal and David Morrow. Selected to serve as honorary pallbearers include: Nathan Watkins, Brody Graham, Sawyer Graham, Tyler Cohen, Chris Graham, Chad Graham, Cliff Graham, Tommy Galloway, Tony Galloway, Ray Graham, Brandon Graham, Bill Graham, Paul Graham, James Talley, Morris Callihan, John Chastain, Jim Adams, Ronnie Hensley, James Pack, and the Deacons and Men of Colwell Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
