Thomas Blake Collins, age 87 of Morganton passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1936 in Morganton to the late Millard Collins and Minnie Davis Collins. Blake retired from Atlanta Gas and Light as a Meter Shop Superintendent. He was a member of Morganton Baptist Church. Blake was the Chairman of the Fannin County Republican Party for many years. He served in the United States Army during Korea. Blake was preceded in death his by parents; loving wife of 65 years that passed away on September 14, 2023, Wanda Sue Patterson Collins and siblings, Blaine Collins, Haven Kiker, Hazel Cantrell and Helen Green.

Survivors are his son, Jeffrey Collins of Morganton; daughter, Deborah Condetti of Morganton; grandchildren, Allison Collins, Andrea Ellison, Jonathon Jones, Brandon Condetti, Savannah Condetti, Madison Condetti, and Clare Allen; and great-grandchildren, Benson Condetti, Hazel Condetti, and Charlotte Condetti.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Eric Kincaid officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, December 18, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
