Therisa Ann Prince, age 59, of Turtletown, TN passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at home. She was born on February 14, 1964 in Cleveland, TN. Therisa worked in lawn care. She was of the Baptist Faith. Therisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Atha and Earl Jones and uncle, Lavern Jones.

Survivors are her husband, Melvin L. Prince of Turtletown, TN; son, Cody Chapman (Jessica) of Copperhill, TN; daughter, Nicole Deal (Daniel) of Copperhill, TN; grandchildren, Liam Chapman, Hayden Deal, Kendra Deal, Maleah Deal and Lincoln Deal; father, Lewis Harris (Brenda) of McCaysville; mother, Vivian Gurley (Barry) of Farner, TN; sister, Kristie Southerland (Calvin) of Eton, GA and aunt, Roberta Taylor of Old Fort, TN.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Allen officiating. Music was provided by Wayne White. Interment followed in the Farner Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Johnny "Spider" Johnson, Nick Beaver, Dewayne Prince, Neal Prince, Darrell Jones, and Darrell Tankersley. The family request memorial contributions be made to help defray the final expenses.
