Survivors are daughters, Linda Marie Ballew of Blue Ridge, GA, Susan Ann Brown of Blue Ridge, GA, Betty Louise Chastain of Blairsville, GA, and Vernell Neuwar of Ellijay, GA; sons, James Walter Watkins of Blue Ridge, GA and Joseph Andrew Watkins of Blue Ridge, GA; sisters, Susie Henry of Blue Ridge, GA and Dorothy Morgan of Blue Ridge, GA; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. James Worley officiating. Pallbearers will be William Mull, Austin Mull, Rob Neuwar, Dakota Bailey, Kevin Watkins and Charlie Ballew. Interment will follow in the Youngs Chapel Cemetery.
