Thelma Anderson Price, age 92, of Morganton, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026. She was born on April 10, 1934, in Marietta to the late Louie Anderson and Icie Wilson Anderson. Thelma was a member of Morganton Baptist Church. She retired from W.F. Woolworth Company, where she worked for 32 years as a bookkeeper.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Walter Price, Jr.; and daughter, Carolyn Louise Price Kattke.

Thelma is survived by her children, Beverly Ann Rousselle, James David Price, and Walter "Buddy" Price; grandchildren, Shea Rousselle, Patrick Rousselle, Marc Rousselle, Andrew Kattke, Rachel Kattke, Grayson Price, Leigh Price, J.D. Price, and Jennifer Price; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will follow on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 12:00 PM in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, GA. Pallbearers will be Pat Rousselle, Marc Rousselle, Grayson Price, J.D. Price, and Andrew Kattke.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
