Terry Hawkins, age 56 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his home. He was born on September 14, 1963 in Copperhill, TN to the late Bobby Gene Hawkins and Betty Elizabeth Sisson Hawkins. Terry worked at the Diamond Carpet. He loved his family and was a kind, tender-hearted person. Terry enjoyed carpentry, working on cars, diassembling and repairing guns. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jessica Hunter and brother, Ricky Earl Hawkins. Survivors are daughters, Jennifer Bautista and Jill Fair; grandchildren, Cameron, Hunter, Levi, Terry, Jacob, Elijah and Adaline; sister, Michelle Green; brother, Steven Hawkins; aunts, Shirley Huffman and Emily Walden; nieces, Robin and Tanya; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. Danny Queen officiating. Music was by Lena Hill. Pallbearers were Michael Green, Jeremiah Green, Dakota Green, Chris Green, Brandon Green and Albert Green. Honorary Pallbearer was Jack York. Interment followed in the Hawkins Family Cemetery.
