Terry Lynn Gaddis, age 65, of Turtletown passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2024. Terry was born on November 11, 1958 in Copperhill, TN to the late Marvin Gaddis and Thelma McDougal Gaddis. He was of Baptist faith. Terry spent most of his working life in the Atlanta area with the Carpenter's Local Union #225, and also, he worked in the building of the Marta underground subway system. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Leroy Gaddis.

He is survived by his children, Hannah (Brannon) Dyer, and Matthew Gaddis; grandson, Hoyt Dyer; siblings, Patricia Padgett of McCaysville, Larry Denver Gaddis of Knoxville, Sandra (Rev. Donald) Weaver of Turtletown, Billy Ray (Angela) Gaddis of Turtletown, and Nancy (Scott) Stuart of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were conducted on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Donald Weaver officiating. Interment will follow later in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
