Teresa Davenport Pittman, age 62, of Blue Ridge passed away on Monday, February 13, 2024. Teresa was born on December 25, 1961 in Ellijay, GA to the late Eulis Davenport and Helen Mae McCormick Davenport. She was a loving, kindhearted soul. In her early years, Teresa enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking. On hikes with her family, she would out walk them all. Teresa loved her family, friends, and God will all of her heart. She loved attending Bethel Church and being with her church family. Lifting a hand to help someone in need wasn't a burden to Teresa, but a gift that she readily and frequently offered.

Jesus said, "There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears. There will be a day when the burdens of this place will be no more." Teresa is without her pain. We have another angel watching over us. Teresa, we will miss you, and love you forever. Fly high until we meet again.

Teresa is survived by her children, Jessica Thomas (William) of McCaysville, and Austin Pittman (Jaylynn Gibbs) of Mineral Bluff; grandchildren, Serah Thomas and Lexi Thomas of McCaysville, and Raelynn Pittman of Mineral Bluff; brother, Steve Davenport of Epworth; sisters, Ann Bice (Lawrence) of Epworth and Rose Mary Tarpley of Blue Ridge; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
