Mr. Terence Dwight Pittman, better known as "Terry", age 56 of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away October 8, 2013. Born in Fannin County, GA he was the son of the late Billy and Amelia Thomas Pittman. He had worked for a number of years for the Dillard Smith Electric Company as a Lineman. He was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and was an avid cattleman. Survivors include his wife, Frances Whitley Pittman of Mineral Bluff, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Beverly Pittman of Mineral Bluff, GA; sister, Sharon Pittman of Blue Ridge, GA and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, October 13, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Pittman and Rev. Tommy Bell officiating. Music was provided by the The Caylor Family. Pallbearers were Randy Pittman, Doug Heaton, Jeff Anderson, Jeff Seabolt, Jeff Arp, Glenn Lewis, Matt Johnson and Lucas Linder. Honorary Pallbearers were Larry Foster and Dr. Frank Wood.
