Tammy Renee Martin, age 42, of Copperhill, TN passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Copper Basin Medical Center. She worked as a waitress for the New York Restaurant and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father Jackson Sparks. She is survived by her fianc, Brian Campbell; son, Kolton Mull of Mineral Bluff, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kaley and Casey Crawford of Epworth, GA; parents, Virginia and Danny Holt of Blairsville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Robin and John Stephens of Mineral Bluff, GA; grandmother, Detta Rogers of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Lane Crawford and Leia Crawford, both of Epworth, GA; and a niece, Nikki Stephens of Mineral Bluff, GA. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Phillip Weeks officiating. Music was by Creed and Barbara Gilliam and Stanley Turner and Girls. Pallbearers were Rob Gladson, Jerry Bailey, Gary Abercrombie, Lynn Merrell, Chad Campbell, and Shane Campbell. Interment followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ms. Martin may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
