Tabitha Lynn Peak Stonecipher, age 31, of Copperhill,TN passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010. Tabitha was a native of the Copper Basin area and worked as a sales person with the Mountain Thrift Store in McCaysville,GA. She was a member of the Staffordtown Church but attended Riverside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by son, Nicholas Stonecipher. She is survived by husband, Terry Stonecipher of McCaysville, GA; daughter Paige Stonecipher of Copperhill, TN; mother and step-father, Tammy Sue and Jerome Cribbs of Copperhill, TN; brother, Daniel Peak of Copperhill, TN; sister, Samantha Deal of Copperhill, TN. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Roy Clore officiating. Music was by Abby Gamble. Pallbearers included, Jason Gamble, Jerry Deal, Clarence Davis, Brandon Cross, Edward Oleughlin and Roger Pickelsimer. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Cook, Chris Boling and Joel Cribbs. Interment followed in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Tabitha may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
