Susie Dean, age 64, of Riceville, TN, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008. Susie was born in Polk County, TN and was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Lush Craig.She is survived by her loving husband, David Dean of the home; Her mother, Opal Craig of Farner, TN; one brother, Charles Craig of Athens, TN; four sisters, Ruby Cole of Vale, NC, Ann Conner of Covington, GA, Mary Trantham of Copperhill, TN, Cathy Wallace of Seneca, SC.Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 12, at 2:00 p.m. from the Farner Presbyterian Church with Rev. Gary Aven officiating. Music was by T.J.Crowder. Palbearers included John Trantham, Jon Jones, Barry Cole, Joe Cole, Sam Clark and Bob Wallace. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
