Susan Renée Patterson

Susan Renée Patterson, age 66, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away November 6, 2026 at her home. Susan was born on October 25, 1960 in Martinsville, Indiana. She had worked for Goldkist for over 20 years and later on owned and operated Fannin Wrecker with her husband, Ray.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Worley; her father, John Brawley; step-mother Nancy Sloan; sister, Cindy Mathis; father-in-law, Billy June Patterson; and son, Daniel Ray Patterson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Billy Ray Patterson; daughter, Shaundra Renée Patterson; step-father, James Worley; mother-in-law, Merry Patterson; sister cousin, Renita Staton; and special cousin, Lisa Barrett. She also leaves behind many cousins, other family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Butch Jones officiating. Singing will be provided by the Boardtown Church of Christ. Interment will follow the service in the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Mike Staton, Ray Payne, Dakota Dillard, Matt Hanna, Wyatt Cochenenour, and Ryan Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be: Adam Richardson, Shawn Cochenenour, and Matt Smith. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
