Mrs. Sue Carol Reid, age 71, of Turtletown, TN, passed away on December 23, 2017. Born in Copperhill, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruby Adams Weaver. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Charles Weaver. She had retired as a Food Nutritionist for the University of Tennessee Department of Agriculture. She was a long time and very active member of Maple Grove Baptist Church where she had served in many capacities including Church Clerk and former WMU Director. She is survived by her husband Norbert Reid of 53 years; daughter and son-in-law, Angie Reid Anson and Alan of Harriman, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence Weaver, Jr. and Tami of Dalton, GA and Rev. Donald Weaver and Sandra of Turtletown, TN; grandsons, Aaron and Adam Kaylor; great grandsons, Jett and Jayce Kaylor. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Maple Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ferris Reid and Rev. Donald Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Adam Kaylor, Aaron Kaylor, Mark Reid, Rick Reid, Scott Chancey and Justin Elrod.
