Ms. Sue Ann Barnes, age 65, of McCaysville, GA passed away on January 26, 2007 at her home. Born in Fannin County, GA she was the daughter of the late Pearly and Hazel Ballew Barnes. Ms. Barnes was a longtime member of the Prospect Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a brother, W.B. Barnes. She is survived by a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Hooper and Rev. Norman Stewart officiating. Music was provided by the Caylor family. Pallbearers were Jackie Barnes, Kenneth Gene Barnes, Clayton Foster, and Junior Ray. Interment followed in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens.
